Bundle up
Monday, September 28, 2009 at 2:55PM It's September 28th and it's officially getting cold in Chicago. I woke up this morning and took the dogs for a walk with my wet hair and I realized it's getting too cold in the morning to walk around with a wet head. It's time to unpack the sweaters, clean my snow boots, and buy a new winter coat.
As much as I love to shop especially for fall/winter clothes I'm the kinda girl that'll wear a piece of clothing till it dies. My mom points out on a daily basis that I need to buy a new this or a new that because I'm starting to look homeless.
Example: I haven't bought a bra in 4 years. I find something I like and I take care of it and keep for as long as I can. When my mom found out that I'd been wearing a bra for 4 years (I WAS WASHING IT!!!) she insisted that we go shopping. So we went on a shopping spree and now I should be good for another 3-4 years.
Now she's demanding that I buy a new winter coat. It's been 4 years since I bought a coat and I have to admit they are looking a little dingy. I feel like Stacy and Clinton from What Not to Wear would shoot me if they saw me.
So I browsed Modcloth this weekend and I found 3 coats I kinda love. What do you think?

Looove the blue coat. But, I love that color.. definitely a 'blue' kind of girl. Coat shopping is so fun.. too bad winters aren't!
ALLLL so cute, totally go for the blue! But get two...layers my dear...rumor has it this winter will be just as bad if not worse then last years....oh joy.
I've been all over Modcloth looking at new fall and winter stuff this week. I'm in love with the first and third coat!
