Should we stay or should we go?

Bryan and I have been debating for the last month about where we should live once our lease is up June 1st. I know it seem like it's too soon to be talking about renewing our lease but our unemployed landlord is desperate to know our decision. Bryan and I figured that we had 3 choices; we could stay where we are, we could move to the suburbs, or we could take a big step and buy a house. Because other big things are happening in our lives personally (details coming soon) and because if I moved to the suburbs I would never see my friends again, we decided to stay where we are.

But I always make sure not to agree to something unless I get something sweet out of the deal. So, in exchange for staying in our current apartment Bryan is going to repaint the bedroom, fix a few things in the bathroom, and let me have free reign in the second bedroom.

He has no idea what he has just done. I am going to make our my second bedroom into my dream space. I'm pretty sure he'll never step foot in there. I'm calling this make over Project Perfect Place and work will begin on PPP once his best friend (Kyle) moves out of the bedroom on April 4th.

I've already started looking at day beds to put into the room. What do you think?

I've also put together a few items as an inspiration board for the PPP.

I'm really excited to get this room started. I've lived in this apartment for 3 years now and I've probably spent a total of 15 minutes in there. I know I'll spend more time in there if it's pretty and if it's functionally good for sewing too.

I love this project!

I've been wanting one a breathe or think sign from William Dohman for the longest so I love that you have one of them in there.

Holy crap!! I can't wait to hear the big news. And it's important to have your own space. Dan and I have separate bedrooms for our own stuff, but we sleep in my room since I have the better bed and the bathroom in my room. :)
