What the House?

after viewing more than 40 houses in 7 different Chicago neighborhoods
after approval from the BF, my father and my mother
after signing an initial contract while intoxicated
after a quick initial counter offer (less than 2 hours after we put in our offer!)
after 4 long days of researching, number crunching, questioning and frustration
after one evening of back and forth offers
the house is finally mine.
See that little top left window...that's mine.
It feels like my very own 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath Barbie mansion even though it doesn't have an elevator to take me to the third floor everyday. My mind is swarming with with decor choices, party plans and endless possibilities. But for now I need to focus on the inspection, the appraisal and a crap load of paperwork. Soon (March 24) I'll be moving in. For now, here's a few photos of my place.
